Phase 1: The Diet
Minimum: Day 1-23
Maximum: Day 1-45
This will depend on how much weight you are trying to lose:
You can stop anytime after you have completed 23 days if you reach your desired weight prior to 45 days. No more than 32 pounds in the 1-45 days..remember the 45 days include the 2 binge days.
Phase 2: Maintenance Phase 14-21 days
This is a transition phase where you add fats back into your diet. The restrictions are no sugar or starch.
Phase 3: After your 14-21 day Phase 2 until forever
You can now add all the other foods you have been avoiding back into your diet, just weigh yourself everyday...or if you want to lose more weight you can start Phase 1 again only this time you only binge for one day.
Phase 1: The Diet
Day 1 and 2: take the hcg in the morning and evening as directed. Eat as much as you want, especially foods that are high in fat. It is important that you get the hcg in your system before you start the diet plan. The binging on fatty foods is supposed to help you not be hungry....Guacamole here I come..!
Day 3 until you reach your goal weight or a max of 45 days: Continue hcg as directed, begin the hcg reduced calorie diet plan. Make sure to weigh yourself each morning and measure yourself at least every 4 days. You will want to see how many inches and pounds you lose.
At least a 23 day commitment
You must commit to at least 23 days in order to do the hcg diet.(Otherwise it's been reported you will gain weight not lose it..) I certainly can give up 23 days of my life to see if this will work...wouldn't you? This 23 day committment includes the two binge days and 21 days of following the low calorie diet while taking the hcg drops. After you complete the 23 days you will stop the drops while continuing a low calorie diet for another 3 days. It takes 3 days for the hcg to leave your body. Then you will follow the Maintenance Phase for another 21 days. If you reach your desired weight before then you still must continue for 23 days, as this will reset your Hypothalamus. If you are not willing to commit to the diet for this long, then this diet isn't for you. Remember giving up in the middle is sabotaging your weight loss.
So what should I eat?
Breakfast: Tea or Coffee (unsweetened)
Lunch: 3.5 Ounces of either Chicken, Veal, Lean Beef or White Fish and 3.5 ounces of vegetables
Dinner: 3.5 ounces of either Chicken, Veal, Lean Beef or White Fish
3.5 ounces of vegetables and Melba Toast if you choose
2 Snacks: an Apple, Grapefruit, or 6 Strawberries
For vegetables only choose from: Spinach, Chard, Chicory, Beet-greens, Green Salad, tomatoes,celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower,zucchini, bell peppers,mushrooms
PHASE 2:THE MAINTENANCE PHASE
When you stop taking the HCG, you still need to continue for three days on the very low calorie diet. The following 21 days you can add other foods back into your diet, but remember still no sugars or starches.
You will most likely continue to lose inches and pounds during this stage. After 21 days you may begin to add other foods which you have not had during your weight loss protocol.
PHASE 3
Now that you have completed phases 1 and 2, you can still expect to lose inches and pounds during this phase although, now you can begin to add other foods which have been restricted during phase 1 and 2. Continue to weigh yourself everyday. You still won't be as hungry as you were when you first started the program. Some of the bad foods you used to eat won't be as appealing as before. Allow your body to tell you what you should be eating. Your hypothalamus has been re-set and you will find that your metabolism burns the fat and calories faster than before.
